* Patient management
* Design, development, evaluation and clinical translation
* Digital health and numerical simulation
* Biomaterials and tissue engineering

* All Abstracts and Full papers must be written in English.
* All Abstracts and Full papers must be original unpublished work.
* One author must be designated the corresponding author for the Abstract or Full paper.
* The length of the Abstract must not exceed 300 words.

>> Download Template <<

* The usage of the provided templates is compulsory to generate your Full paper. No fixed template is required for Abstracts.
* Each corresponding author can submit 2 Abstracts or 2 Full Contributed papers to APSAO2023 and thus is entitled for two final submissions per registration, except for student registration, which permits the submission of a maximum of 1 Abstract or 1 Full Contributed paper.

* The manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers, based on its technical merit, innovation, significance to the community, and quality of presentation (such as paper format, grammatical errors, quality of figures and tables).
* All submitted manuscripts will be scanned for possible plagiarism using Turnitin.
* Reviews are traditional double blind peer reviews where the identity of the authors/reviewers is not visible to the reviewers/authors.
* Papers with the highest review score in the corresponding tracks and/or nominated by the reviewer(s) will be shortlisted for the best paper awards.
* On or before the scheduled and communicated notification date, the conference will notify the corresponding author of the acceptance or rejection of the paper along with any comments and/or suggested feedback received from reviewers. If accepted, we strongly encourage updating the paper with any recommendations provided by the reviewers.

* Papers which are accepted to the conference program are required to complete all steps outlined for the final submission process. Papers which do not complete the final submission steps on or before the deadlines outlined by the conference are subject to removal from the conference program.
* The authors are strongly encouraged to complete a thorough review of the paper before final submission as this will be the final opportunity to make any changes, adjustments, or acknowledgements. Request to update the final submission will not be accommodated.

* At least one author of accepted paper must register and complete the payment before the specified date in order for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings and publication.
* Complete payment of the registration fee is required before uploading the final manuscript.
* The final paper will appear in the conference proceedings.
* Papers nominated for the best paper award will be notified separately on a later date.
* The awards will be conferred to the Accepted and Presented Papers ONLY.

* Only accepted papers submitted under the Full Contributed Paper type, which have completed all final submission steps as outlined by the conference guidelines, and presented at the conference as scheduled, will be deemed eligible by APSAO2023 for publication in the Springer Lectures Notes in Bioengineering (Scopus-indexed conference proceeding).
* Abstracts are not eligible for publication and indexing in the conference proceedings.
